What we store and why
My Future stores your sign-in email and the positions, directions, reasons, development priorities, outcomes, career notes and resources you choose to save. This lets us provide the private journey you request. We do not publish this information or send your career notes to an AI model.
Joining and Give Forward enquiries are separate records. We store the contact details, experience and contribution preferences you submit so we can respond and organise participation. Submitting an enquiry does not publish a professional perspective or create a public profile.
Access and service providers
Supabase provides account authentication and database storage. Vercel hosts the website. Your private journey is restricted to your signed-in account through database access rules. Authorised administration and infrastructure providers may process information to operate and protect the service. We do not sell your private journey or use it for advertising.
Cookies and measurement
Sign-in uses essential session cookies. Product measurement records daily totals of a small set of actions, such as a saved direction. Those totals do not contain an email, account identifier, note, role selection or browsing history. They count actions, not unique people. Hosting and security systems may separately process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service.
Keeping and removing information
Your journey remains available while you keep your account. In My Future you can correct your position, priorities and notes, download your complete journey, or permanently delete your account and its private records. Separate joining and Give Forward enquiries must be removed by contacting Adrian. Deletion from active storage does not mean that provider security logs or backups disappear instantly; contact us for information about your specific request.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access, correction or deletion, and may have rights to restrict or object to processing and to receive a portable copy, depending on the circumstances. Contact Adrian first if something is wrong. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Read the ICO guide to individual rights.
Keep notes proportionate
Avoid storing passwords, client information, confidential employer documents, medical details or other people’s personal information. A short anonymised account of what you learnt is usually enough.
